My Meeting Minutes privacy policy

Effective date: 11 October 2026

This policy explains how My Meeting Minutes, the Windows app published by MaMo Software on the Microsoft Store (the "app"), handles personal data.

Who is responsible

The app is published by Marcello Moscetti, trading as MaMo Software. You can reach him at info@mamosoftware.com for any question about this policy.

Your data stays on your PC

Everything you enter in the app (meetings, attendees, notes, actions, topics and statistics) is stored on your own computer. MaMo Software has no servers for the app and does not receive, collect or store any of this data.

Files you import, export or back up (for example Word-compatible documents and backups) are saved where you choose and stay under your control.

Sync with your Microsoft account

If you choose to sync your meeting calendar or your notes with Microsoft OneNote, the app connects directly to your own Microsoft account (personal, work or school), after you sign in and give your permission. The data travels only between your computer and Microsoft; MaMo Software does not receive it. Microsoft processes it under its own privacy statement and, for work or school accounts, under the terms of your organization. You can stop syncing and remove the app's access at any time from your Microsoft account settings.

Usage statistics

Earlier versions of this policy said that the app could send anonymous usage statistics to Microsoft Visual Studio App Center. Microsoft retired App Center on 31 March 2025, so the app no longer sends any usage data. The app contains no advertising and no other analytics.

Microsoft Store

The app is free and is distributed through the Microsoft Store. Downloads, updates and any data related to your Microsoft account are handled by Microsoft under its own privacy statement.

Support requests

If you write to support@mamosoftware.com, we use your email address and the content of your message only to help you. We keep support messages for as long as needed to handle your request and then for no more than 24 months. See the website privacy policy for details.

Your rights

Since the app's data never leaves your computer or your own Microsoft account, you are in full control of it: you can edit or delete it in the app, or remove the app and its data from Windows. For any personal data we hold because you wrote to us, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection under the GDPR. Write to info@mamosoftware.com to exercise them. You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in Italy the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).

Children

The app is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app changes how it handles data, we will update this page and its effective date before that version is published.
